Hawke's Bay Waterfalls

Today I went to see some waterfalls with Ingo .

First stop: Te Ana Falls

Next: Tangoio Falls

The walks were quite easy (even though really slippery) but really really beautiful! 

3rd : 60m high Shine Falls

Trip down the Lower North Island

Back to English:
last weekend Jann and I have been to Wellington with our new car (Yeah well... the first one broke down on the way back from Mahia, but that's another story...) . Such a beautiful city!
First stop Mt Holdsworth were we hiked up to the rocky lookout

 Next stop: Wellington!

We were so lucky that we found this amazing place to sleep :)

The next morning we went to visit a seal colony down the beach. With our new 4WD we could even drive there ;)

 After this we finally went to the city

We took a guided to tour through Parliament

 After we left Wellington we drove along the coast down to Cape Palliser

where we saw even more seals!!

The last day I went for a short hike to the Putangiru Pinnacles which some may recognize as a location from the Lord of the rings (Herr der Ringe) movies ;)

Finally the last stop this weekend: Castlepoint

That's it for now but I hope more is soon to come when my class schedule gets a little less busy :)
