Trip down the Lower North Island

Back to English:
last weekend Jann and I have been to Wellington with our new car (Yeah well... the first one broke down on the way back from Mahia, but that's another story...) . Such a beautiful city!
First stop Mt Holdsworth were we hiked up to the rocky lookout

Next stop: Wellington!


We were so lucky that we found this amazing place to sleep :)

The next morning we went to visit a seal colony down the beach. With our new 4WD we could even drive there ;)

We took a guided to tour through Parliament

After we left Wellington we drove along the coast down to Cape Palliser

where we saw even more seals!!

The last day I went for a short hike to the Putangiru Pinnacles which some may recognize as a location from the Lord of the rings (Herr der Ringe) movies ;)

Finally the last stop this weekend: Castlepoint

That's it for now but I hope more is soon to come when my class schedule gets a little less busy :)

Next Try: New Zealand!!

Kia ora everyone!
After a long break I thought I give my blog another chance. While in Las Palmas I didn't manage to keep it updatet but this time I hope I'll do better :) And I also decided to do it in English so all of my friends will be able to keep up.
What happend so far: I'm in Napier, NZ since nearly 3 weeks now. I study at the EIT for one semester, so be back for christmas :)
To get started I have some impressions from my new hometown to share with you.
